Location: Full-time on-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at an -designated worksite
Salary: USD 57,000–65,000 per year

What you will do
- Produce, write, and edit daily local news and weather segments for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Plan, script, and produce engaging content tailored to streaming audiences.
- Lead coverage of major headlines and weather through innovative storytelling.
- Collaborate with managers, the digital team, and the assignment desk to deliver fair and accurate local news.
- Develop short-form and long-form projects for streaming channels.
- Generate story ideas based on the Telemundo Nuevo Mexico news strategy.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in newsgathering and/or production.
- At least 2 years of experience writing, producing, and editing with desktop editing systems.
- Experience line-producing newscasts and editing video content on non-linear systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and willingness to work in Albuquerque, NM.
Nice to have
- Experience producing content on a news wheel and updating live or fresh content.
- Familiarity with YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, and other streaming or digital platforms.
- Strong news judgment, situational awareness, research, organizational, and time-management skills.
