Senior Product Manager, Accounting (AI)

Location: New York, NY, USA; in-office work required

Salary: $220,000–$280,000 base per year plus $70,000–$80,000 equity

What you will do

• Set strategy and a multi-quarter roadmap for a major product area.
• Own technical product areas involving agents, ML, and LLM-versus-deterministic workflows.
• Design data ingestion, synchronization, and bi-directional workflows across dozens of systems.
• Build evaluation systems focused on the reliability and accuracy of agents posting to a real ledger.
• Drive ambiguous, high-impact initiatives from problem framing through launch and iteration.
• Partner with engineering and design leadership on architecture, technical trade-offs, operating processes, and measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Experience owning a product area or product line and driving measurable business results.
• Production experience applying AI and ML to product workflows, including LLM-powered or agentic features.
• Understanding of evaluation methods, failure modes, and AI product trade-offs.
• Strong communication, alignment, ownership, and decision-making skills in ambiguous environments.
• Willingness to work in person in New York, USA.

Nice to have

• CPA, ACA, or equivalent accounting qualification, or experience in audit or controllership.
• Accounting, ERP, or fintech domain experience.
• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or CrewAI and AI coding tools.
• MBA or experience working with business stakeholders.
