Director of Product (AI)

Location: Remote (North America)

Salary: USD $150,000–$185,000 for candidates based in the United States; CAD $135,000–$165,000 regardless of location.

What you will do

• Lead four direct reports: three Senior Technical Product Managers and one Design Lead; set goals, provide feedback, and support professional growth.
• Maintain an integrated, company-level product roadmap and capacity plan across engineering, data, and design.
• Run product operating cadences, including stage gates, cross-functional planning, quarterly sessions, and executive or board updates.
• Own the product metrics stack, instrumentation standards, dashboards, and review cadence tied to the company north-star metric.
• Maintain product strategy documents, OKRs, roadmaps, and other artifacts that connect company objectives to product execution.
• Track the workforce technology and AI-native competitive landscape and translate insights into roadmap and positioning actions.

Requirements

• Direct experience managing PMs, TPMs, or designers and developing their craft and scope.
• Experience owning a company-level product roadmap and reconciling it with engineering and data capacity.
• Experience running recurring planning, stage-gate, executive, and board-level product cadences.
• Strong metrics fluency, including defining metrics, instrumentation, dashboards, and decision-making reviews.
• Experience translating strategy into durable OKRs, strategy decks, roadmaps, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management across engineering, GTM, Customer Success, and enterprise or government customers.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS, govtech, workforce technology, or multi-stakeholder platforms.
• Experience working with enterprise or government customers.
