TL;DR
Product Manager, AI (Ester): Driving the strategy and execution of an AI estate-planning engine that ingests legal documents, extracts structured data, and generates client-facing insights with an accent on multimodal RAG, LLM orchestration, and model evaluation. Focus on translating legal complexity into product requirements, improving extraction accuracy, and scaling AI capabilities from concept to production.
Location: Hybrid in New York, Tempe, or San Francisco, United States
Base salary: $180,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do
- Own the product vision, strategy, and execution for Ester, the company’s proprietary AI engine.
- Define, scope, and prioritize AI solutions based on business needs, user impact, and competitive analysis.
- Translate product strategy and market needs into detailed requirements, prototypes, and delivery plans.
- Partner with engineering and AI research teams to deliver document ingestion, legal data extraction, agentic workflows, and client-facing insights.
- Lead product launches, user interviews, product testing, feedback collection, and adoption initiatives.
- Build internal and external alignment around the product vision and communicate the platform’s value proposition.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product, project management, or equivalent experience, including a track record of leading AI/ML products from concept to scale.
- Technical fluency across the AI lifecycle, including OCR, Document AI, LLM orchestration, multimodal RAG, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning.
- Ability to lead technical discussions on extraction accuracy and model evaluation with AI researchers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer discovery, experimentation, and user interview skills.
- Ability to turn business requirements and market needs into successful product strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience, with strong ownership and accountability.
