Director of Product (AI/Fintech)

Location: Hybrid schedule with 2–3 days onsite and 2–3 days remote, Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30. Offices are available in San Diego, Irvine, Atlanta, and Orlando. Remote employees must reside in one of 16 eligible US states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia.

Base salary: $139,000–$190,000 plus bonus, with additional incentives including a 401(k) match and health and welfare benefits.

What you will do

• Lead product strategy and roadmaps for major growth domains across the SMB financing ecosystem.
• Define lifecycle metrics and initiatives that improve acquisition, activation, retention, revenue, and borrower value.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and models, identify opportunities for borrower-facing advantages, and assess associated risks.
• Partner with PMO, Technology, Data, Finance, and business leaders to establish prioritization and product-impact frameworks.
• Translate business goals into data-informed hypotheses, plans, success criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead portfolio reviews covering performance, ROI, adoption, lifecycle impact, and lending KPIs such as approval rate, time-to-fund, loss rate, and servicing cost.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of Product Management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, SMB lending, or a related financing ecosystem.
• Hands-on daily fluency with AI tools for research, analysis, prototyping, and product decision-making.
• Technical fluency sufficient to understand engineering and AI/LLM tradeoffs and write structured requirements.
• Experience turning strategic goals into measurable customer and business outcomes and applying decision frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, structured reasoning, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SMB financing, embedded finance, or lending marketplaces.
• Experience shipping AI-powered product features.
• Familiarity with customer data systems, workflow automation, partner integrations, analytics, and digital experience platforms.
