Maintenance Technician - Industrial (Electro-Mechanical) - Night Shift

Location: Onsite in Newark, Delaware, United States. Night shift from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM; weekends are required for shutdown maintenance. A 12-hour rotating schedule, call-in, overtime, and holiday work may be required.

Compensation: $35.00–$40.00 per hour, with possible overtime, shift differential, call-in, and standby pay.

What you will do

• Provide maintenance support for production machinery, computer systems, facility equipment, and a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, network, and computer hardware or software faults during production.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on high-speed automated industrial machinery.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders while helping maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment, document issues, manage parts inventory, and record maintenance activities.
• Train and coach production technicians and new maintenance technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of related electromechanical maintenance experience with industrial mechanical and electrical machines and systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of industrial controls, related I/O systems, computer hardware and software, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment faults, read schematics and blueprints, and follow OSHA requirements.
• Strong computer literacy, including Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet software.
• Ability to work independently on night and weekend shifts and on a 12-hour rotating schedule. Effective English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent technical education.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification.
• Experience with inventory, manufacturing, and order processing software.
