Project Manager (Power Generation)

Location: Milwaukee, WI; primarily remote, with onsite work 2–3 business days per week required for candidates living within 50 miles of a hirify.global site. Candidates must reside in a state where hirify.global has an established business presence; remote work is unavailable in Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, North Dakota, Nebraska, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Salary: $113,000–$143,950 per year.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and manage data center power generation projects against contractual timelines, scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel throughout construction, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Conduct site walks and leadership meetings to maintain safety compliance and schedule alignment.
• Manage project milestones, critical-path activities, resources, risks, corrective actions, and commercial terms.
• Communicate with clients and developers, resolve delivery issues, and advise leadership on contractual deviations.
• Provide stakeholders with progress reports, risk assessments, project metrics, and issue-resolution updates.

Requirements

• Degree in an engineering discipline or at least 7 years of combined heat and power industry experience.
• Experience and understanding of the power generation industry.
• At least 2 years of experience managing large-scale projects in an engineering environment.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• US work authorization is required without current or future sponsorship.
