Senior Business Solutions Analyst III (Insurance)

Salary: $88,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to align business needs with system capabilities.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Create and maintain business requirement documents, process flows, use cases, Jira stories, and tasks.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog with Product Owners and support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and system integration analysis across the insurance ecosystem.
• Collaborate with QA on test plans, support UAT, evaluate implemented solutions, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in technology-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and mentor junior analysts.

Nice to have

• Experience in the insurance industry, preferably Property & Casualty.
• Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
