Infrastructure & Capital Projects, Director - Data Center Construction, ANS

Location: Houston, TX, United States; hybrid work combining remote work, onsite client work, and hirify.global office or center attendance.

Salary: $210,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

• Identify differentiating factors in approach, design, and constructability throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Align project stakeholders and manage overall project delivery.
• Control project scope, schedule, budget, costs, changes, cash flow, and risks, including recovery strategies.
• Apply continuous improvement initiatives and enforce client project processes, procedures, and policies.
• Build positive relationships with the client and representatives while maintaining contract and project documentation.
• Coordinate project staff training and support professional morale and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or four additional years of related experience.
• 5+ years of senior-level construction or design management experience.
• 15+ years of project management experience.
• At least two successful data center construction projects.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with remote, office, and onsite client work.

Nice to have

• Experience with projects under design and/or construction.
• People management experience.
• CCM, PMP, CEM, or CPMP certification.
• Experience commissioning hyperscale or colocation data centers.
• Flexibility to travel to the work location.
