Product Manager II (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Translate product strategy and roadmap priorities into well-defined backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Run agile ceremonies and manage day-to-day prioritization for assigned features and workstreams.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA to keep delivery moving and resolve blockers.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build knowledge of federal contracting, including the impact of policy, compliance, and procurement on product decisions.
• Take ownership of assigned work while escalating decisions appropriately and learning from senior product staff.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in product management or a closely related role with direct exposure to agile product delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder updates.
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies, backlog management, sprint planning, and story writing.
• Ability to manage priorities and keep delivery on track with light guidance from senior product staff.
• Ability to work with cross-functional engineering, design, and QA teams. US citizenship or a Green Card, at least three years of US residency, and eligibility to obtain Public Trust clearance are required; sponsorship is not offered.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with healthcare data standards, regulations, CMS programs, FHIR, eCQMs, or value-based care.
• Professional services, government, or federal consulting experience.
• Exposure to public-sector procurement, ATO processes, FedRAMP, or other federal compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps and remote or distributed delivery teams.
