Agile Product Owner III (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role located on the Premera campus in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, United States

Salary: $111,900–$190,200 per year

What you will do

• Represent customer needs and business priorities within an Agile delivery team.
• Define, maintain, refine, and prioritize the product backlog with stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, technology teams, and other Product Owners on product implementations, enhancements, dependencies, and roadmaps.
• Facilitate product demonstrations, release reviews, backlog refinement sessions, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, approve completed work, and drive quality and continuous improvement using KPIs and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of experience in product ownership, product management, business systems analysis, systems analysis, business analysis, or related Agile delivery roles.
• Experience working in a software development environment using Agile practices, including Scrum and SAFe.
• Experience defining features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements for moderately complex products, systems, and business processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from the Mountlake Terrace, Washington campus.

Nice to have

• Experience using SQL or other data analysis tools to support product decisions.
• Knowledge of healthcare or health insurance operations.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Confluence, Product Plan, and Visual Studio.
• Experience mentoring less experienced team members.
