Millwright (Petrochemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Install, repair, inspect, adjust, lubricate, and maintain mechanical equipment using work orders, technical documentation, hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
• Diagnose failures in rotating equipment and overhaul pumps, gearboxes, blowers, motors, compressors, and related machinery.
• Align motors and pumps, conduct test runs, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and support the plant reliability program.
• Operate machining, welding, burning, lifting, rigging, and precision-measuring equipment to repair or manufacture parts.
• Maintain plant vehicles, emergency generators, and firewater pumps, including records and parts requirements.
• Follow INEOS safety, health, and environmental procedures while working indoors and outdoors in demanding industrial conditions.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience as a journeyman millwright in an industrial environment or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent and NCCER millwright certification.
• Petrochemical plant experience and knowledge of construction equipment and industrial machinery.
• Formal training in vibration analysis, lubrication, and large-scale industrial refrigeration troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to operate lathes and mills, perform equipment rigging, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and use SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work and wear a respirator and gas mask when required.
