What you will do

• Maintain, repair, replace, and service mechanical equipment used to produce ammonia.
• Perform diagnostic and preventive maintenance on bearings, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and turbines.
• Inspect equipment, troubleshoot failures, replace components, and complete repairs.
• Perform shaft alignment using dial indicators and Rotalign laser alignment equipment.
• Read repair manuals, apply manufacturer specifications, and order replacement parts.
• Perform safe rigging and lifting tasks while working on ladders, stairs, man lifts, and man baskets.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of industry-related experience may substitute for a degree or certificate.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and computer skills.
• Ability to maintain health, safety, and environmental standards in a chemical manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Availability for weekend work, call-outs, overtime, and on-call duties.
• Ability and willingness to travel for training and perform physically demanding work with safety equipment.

Nice to have

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, certifications, or relevant licenses.
• Technical knowledge or work experience in chemical or manufacturing plants.
