Maintenance Millwright

Location: City of Industry, California, USA; onsite day-shift role

Pay: $29.62–$36.80 per hour, depending on experience and knowledge

What you will do

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on plant mechanical equipment, including conveyors, gearboxes, boilers, pumps, bearings, rolls, piping, and pulpers.
• Diagnose equipment issues using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools.
• Weld various metals using stick and TIG methods.
• Perform rigging, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, shutdown and outage work, and post-failure analysis.
• Safely operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts, and work from ladders, scaffolding, and roofs.
• Complete work-order documentation and support the Maintenance department during call-ins, shift rotations, downtime, and unscheduled overtime.

Requirements

• At least five years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and maintain equipment with hand, power, and precision measuring tools.
• Ability to follow OSHA and Cal/OSHA requirements and use required personal protective equipment.
• Physical ability to work in hot, cold, dirty, and fast-paced conditions and perform 12-hour shifts when required.
• Ability to work safely in a diverse environment.
