Cost Accountant (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Partner with Operations and Manufacturing leaders to support decision-making through financial and operational analysis.
• Analyze COGS, labor, materials, overhead, inventory movements, cost drivers, margins, and efficiency trends.
• Reconcile inventory transactions and valuations for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Manage allocations, intercompany eliminations, purchase price variances, and monthly manufacturing reporting.
• Prepare SAP for planning cycles and maintain standard costs, allocation models, order settlements, and related system processes.
• Support controls, audits, process improvements, system enhancements, and digital transformation across manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• 3+ years of cost or manufacturing accounting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence without authority.
• Ability to investigate business operations, identify trends and risks, and respectfully challenge assumptions.

Nice to have

• SAP experience.
• Experience in a standard cost environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
