Sr Cost Accountant (Manufacturing)

Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 annually, plus a 6% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Maintain and analyze standard costs, bills of materials, routings, and product cost structures in SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze labor, material, overhead, scrap, yield, and production variances, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory valuation, reserves, cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and inventory-related risks.
• Support monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Identify and track cost savings opportunities while partnering with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams.
• Develop cost reports and financial dashboards, improve reporting automation, and support systems enhancements and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Five or more years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
• Experience using SAP GUI, not Fiori, in a manufacturing environment; S/4HANA experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of standard costing, financial inventory controls, and GAAP.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including functions, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with all levels of plant management.
