Sr Software Engineer (Python/Java)

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience

What you will do

• Design robust solutions and build scalable software applications for new business initiatives.
• Write, test, debug, and implement efficient, maintainable production code in an Agile environment.
• Own projects and technical decisions from conception through deployment with minimal supervision.
• Audit existing systems, troubleshoot issues, identify optimization opportunities, and advocate for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, influence technical decisions, and communicate complex issues clearly.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and professional development support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related software engineering experience.
• Production experience shipping software in Python and Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
