What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship high-quality technical solutions that scale across multiple hirify.global services.
• Build and maintain high-availability backend services and APIs to power Copilot features.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to foster the growth of other engineers.
• Write architecture briefs and build prototypes to achieve planetary scale for core infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative AI-driven solutions.
• Own system health and participate in on-call and first responder rotations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience delivering production software in languages such as Go, Python, Ruby, Rust, Java, C++, or C#.
• Strong experience building and operating distributed systems in production environments.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• 4+ years of experience using general-purpose programming languages such as Go or Ruby.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud environments and Cloud Native Compute Foundation (CNCF) concepts.
