Senior Business Analyst (Life & Pensions)

What you will do

• Own business analysis activities across multiple projects, initiatives, and workstreams.
• Analyse products, services, and processes to identify optimisation opportunities and define requirements using techniques such as gap analysis.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data, user research, and performance metrics to define outcomes and inform solution designs.
• Present options and recommendations, clarify objectives, and support stakeholder decision-making.
• Manage priorities, delivery progress, risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, and escalations across BA activities.
• Lead, coach, and assure the quality of Business Analyst deliverables, including requirements, user stories, process maps, impact assessments, and solution design artefacts.

Requirements

• Extensive Business Analyst experience in a Life & Pensions organisation or with Life & Pensions products.
• Experience self-managing complex analysis across multiple projects, priorities, or workstreams.
• Strong delivery and task management skills, with the ability to identify and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, gaps, and blockers.
• Experience working across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid environments within established change governance standards.
• Ability to lead other Business Analysts, set direction, monitor progress, and maintain delivery quality.
• Ability to structure complex problems, work with ambiguity, and communicate effectively with stakeholders, delivery teams, and third-party partners.

Nice to have

• International Diploma in Business Analysis or an equivalent qualification.
