Senior Technical Business Analyst (Securities Trading)

Location: Hybrid role based in Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Analyse business requirements and processes, acting as an intermediary between business and development teams.
• Design solutions and support testing, implementation, and post-development releases.
• Participate in client and prospect workshops to explain hirify.global features, assess scenarios, and recommend business and IT solutions.
• Manage client relationships through regular communication and business consulting services.
• Prepare reports and project documentation covering requirements, activities, and project status.

Requirements

• Solid business analysis experience in the financial services domain with technical exposure to applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile processes.
• Ability to read and understand technical code languages such as SQL and their associated logic.
• Self-directed approach with a commitment to continuous learning.

Nice to have

• Experience with the hirify.global application.
• Experience with securities trading, FIX or Swift interfaces, and transactional reporting standards such as MiFID or EMIR.
• Exposure to PL/SQL or another programming language, development experience, and querying skills.
• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent qualification.
• German, French, or Italian language skills.
