Senior Manager, Software Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Lead a global team of software and quality engineers responsible for Enterprise Data Integration solutions.
• Drive engineering execution, software quality, modernization initiatives, and predictable product delivery.
• Set direction for the design, implementation, testing, maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of software capabilities.
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Technical Support, executive leadership, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative and supportable software.
• Lead responses to customer escalations, production incidents, release events, and operational challenges.
• Coach and develop employees, build future leaders, and promote accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Significant software engineering experience with leadership responsibility for enterprise software solutions.
• Demonstrated success building, leading, and developing high-performance engineering teams.
• Technical leadership experience across mainframe, distributed, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Experience delivering and supporting business-critical software, including customer escalations, production incidents, and operational challenges.
• Experience managing performance, coaching employees, driving accountability, and applying Agile development methodologies.
• Experience evaluating and adopting emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, alongside strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Enterprise Data Integration, data movement technologies, metadata management, data governance, databases, or related enterprise software platforms.
• Experience driving modernization while maintaining operational stability and customer commitments.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled engineering practices or AI-powered product capabilities.
• Strong listening skills, intellectual curiosity, and passion for innovation.
