What you will do
- Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers focusing on scalable web-based software.
- Drive the adoption of AI-native practices, including agentic workflows and spec-driven engineering.
- Partner with Product and Architecture leaders to integrate AI for improved delivery effectiveness.
- Translate business needs into technical capability build-up and hiring plans.
- Mentor engineers, set performance goals, and foster a diverse, inclusive working environment.
- Identify and resolve technical blockers and red flags within the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in people leadership and team growth.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development and agentic workflows.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL, and frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
- Expertise in Cloud Application development and versioning tools like Git.
- Solid understanding of Agile practices, ideally including TDD.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
