Managing Consultant (Healthcare Revenue Cycle Analytics)

Location: Remote - USA; willing to travel infrequently, up to 20% depending on project requirements and client expectations

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Collect, research, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to solve client problems.
• Design data-driven analytics solutions for denials avoidance, revenue integrity, and revenue cycle process improvement.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that produce actionable client recommendations.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative work streams, including execution oversight, audits, and quality improvement.
• Manage representative-level client relationships and present findings to different audiences.
• Mentor junior team members in analytical methods and revenue cycle domain knowledge.

Requirements

• 5+ years of revenue cycle experience required.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent degree in analytics, computer science, economics, finance, accounting, statistics, econometrics, public health, engineering, or a related subject.
• Experience leading denials avoidance/prevention and avoidable write-off initiatives with measurable financial results.
• Experience with process redesign and improvement across the entire revenue cycle, including Patient Access, HIM/Coding, and Patient Financial Services.
• Proven capability with SQL/Snowflake and Tableau/Power BI required.
• Must be able to verify legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Manager-level experience in consulting or the healthcare industry.
• Cerner Patient Accounting experience.
• Experience with Python, R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, MS Access, Alteryx, or Databricks.
