Decision Analytics Consultant - Health Plan

Location: Hybrid work in Chicago, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Princeton, or Evanston, United States, with work-from-home and on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices. Travel is required for client-facing work as needed.

Salary: $160,000–$177,000 per year, plus potential COLA, bonus incentives, relocation benefits, leave policies, insurance, and retirement benefits.

What you will do

• Structure complex client problems into clear analytical components and issue trees.
• Lead multiple project workstreams covering data analysis, content synthesis, insights, and findings.
• Develop integrated deliverables with clear storylines, strategic implications, and recommendations.
• Analyze data to answer Health Plan clients’ business analytics and reporting questions.
• Work with clients to define information needs, select appropriate data, and execute analysis plans.
• Present results in a business-focused manner while building client relationships and developing healthcare analytics expertise.

Requirements

• MBA with a quantitative or analytical bachelor’s or graduate degree, or a relevant PhD; 5–8 years of relevant experience may substitute for an MBA or PhD.
• Up to 3 years of post-MBA Health Plan experience and 3–5 years of relevant pre-MBA experience, with evidence of strong analytical work.
• Experience with advanced modeling and tools such as R, Python, SAS, or Tableau.
• Healthcare business process or analytics experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, leadership, teamwork, and client-service skills.
• Fluent English and United States work authorization that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship are required.
