TL;DR

Focus on supporting clinical trial activities, advisory boards, internal training, and alignment with Medical Affairs plans across a designated U.S. territory.

Location: Fully remote within the designated U.S. region covering Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee. Frequent domestic and international travel of up to 60–80% is required.

Salary: $187,000–$244,000 annual

What you will do

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, physicians, academic institutions, researchers, payers, and healthcare organizations.
  • Conduct scientific exchanges on disease education, product information, current therapies, and products in development.
  • Present product and disease-state data and support appropriate prescribing and improved patient outcomes.
  • Implement advisory boards and scientific forums, gathering and synthesizing healthcare professional insights.
  • Support clinical development and research programs, including trial-site identification, recruitment support, and issue resolution.
  • Deliver product and disease-state training and mentoring to internal colleagues while executing Medical Affairs initiatives.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or NP/PA, plus five years of relevant field medical experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience with rare or orphan diseases, pulmonary/respiratory diseases, and infectious diseases.
  • Residence in the designated region is required.
  • Excellent command of English and advanced interpersonal and presentation skills are required.
  • Knowledge of the PhRMA Code of Conduct, Sunshine Act, HIPAA, promotional regulations, and applicable laws.
  • Experience with the U.S. healthcare system, healthcare policy, health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, or population-based health management.

Nice to have

  • Medical information, medical strategy, clinical management, clinical trial, or non-pharmaceutical clinical and research experience.
  • Experience working with competitive pipelines, lifecycle plans, medical and pharmacy benefits, and quality programs.
