TL;DR
Medical Science Liaison, CNS - Great Lakes (CNS): Providing clinical, scientific, and health economic information on CNS disease states and approved Otsuka products across a field-based Great Lakes ecosystem with an accent on stakeholder engagement, patient outcomes, and medical strategy. Focus on developing evidence-based education, supporting clinical trials, collecting medical insights, and coordinating cross-functional healthcare initiatives.

Location: Remote within the United States; field-based role covering the Great Lakes territory with business travel by air or car up to 70% of the time. Preferred living location is a key city in the territory.

Salary: $150,034–$224,250 annually, plus incentive opportunity.

What you will do

  • Contribute clinical and scientific expertise to local ecosystem business plans and medical strategies.
  • Build relationships with key influencers, local practice leaders, healthcare providers, decision-makers, and patient advocacy organizations.
  • Provide evidence-based clinical, economic, and humanistic information on CNS disease states and approved hirify.global products.
  • Deliver disease-state and healthcare-landscape education and provide clinical and data-focused training for promotional and disease-state speakers.
  • Collect medical insights to inform decision-making, evidence generation, and healthcare solutions.
  • Support registrational, post-marketing, and investigator-sponsored clinical trials, including site selection and performance.

Requirements

  • MD/DO, PharmD, or PhD in life sciences.
  • At least 2 years of relevant pharmaceutical Medical Affairs, clinical, or research experience.
  • Understanding of healthcare systems, patient care delivery, and collaboration with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, conflict-resolution, strategic leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, transforming environment and travel up to 70% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Previous training or experience in CNS disease.
  • Experience leading others or project teams.
