Senior Director, Global Medical Strategy, Rare Neurology

Location: Remote within the United States; travel up to 30–40% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $230,720–$345,000 annually, plus incentive opportunity.

What you will do

• Lead global medical strategy and launch preparation for rare neurology and ALS assets.
• Coordinate medical affairs planning with commercial, market access, payer value, early development, clinical development, medical excellence, and operations functions.
• Develop data generation plans, conduct annual data gap analyses, and oversee global evidence generation reviews for Phase IIIB and IV programs.
• Oversee scientific content, manuscripts, presentations, symposiums, posters, publication plans, and product-related communications.
• Coordinate medical activities across US, European, Canadian, and international affiliates.
• Provide therapeutic-area leadership, expert engagement, regulatory input, SOP development, and compliance oversight.

Requirements

• MD, PhD, or PharmD with exceptional leadership experience in Medical Affairs.
• At least 10 years of Medical Affairs experience and 5–7 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience launching new medicines, preferably in ALS or other rare or ultra-rare diseases.
• Strong understanding of clinical development, commercialization strategy, pharmaceutical products, competition, and the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, interpret study findings, manage change, and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to travel up to 30–40% of the time domestically and internationally.
