Medical Science Liaison (CNS) (Medical Affairs): Providing clinical, scientific, and health economic information on CNS disease states and approved Otsuka products across a U.S. ecosystem with an accent on stakeholder engagement, patient outcomes, and evidence-based medical education. Focus on shaping regional medical strategies, supporting clinical trials, collecting medical insights, and coordinating cross-functional healthcare solutions.

Location: Remote within the United States; territory includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Preferred living location is a key city within the territory. Business travel by air or car may take up to 70% of working time.

Salary: $150,034–$224,250 annually, plus incentive opportunity.

What you will do

  • Contribute clinical and scientific expertise to local ecosystem plans addressing healthcare challenges and opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key influencers, healthcare providers, practice leaders, decision-makers, and patient advocacy organizations.
  • Provide evidence-based clinical, economic, and humanistic information on CNS disease states and hirify.global products.
  • Disseminate disease-state and healthcare landscape information and deliver clinical and data-focused training.
  • Support registrational, post-marketing, investigator-sponsored, and health economic outcomes research.
  • Collect medical insights, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with Field Medical, Safety and Pharmacovigilance, Sales Training, and other matrix partners.

Requirements

  • MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD in life sciences.
  • At least 2 years of relevant pharmaceutical Medical Affairs, clinical, or research experience.
  • Understanding of healthcare systems, patient care delivery, and collaboration with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, conflict-resolution, strategic leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to travel by air or car up to 70% of the time and preferred residence in a key city within the territory.

  • Training or experience in CNS disease.
  • Strong pharmaceutical industry and business acumen.
