Systems/Networking Administrator (AWS/Azure)

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; office and manufacturing environment

Salary: $111,500–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer, provision, configure, and automate Windows, Linux, and macOS systems and development environments.
• Manage user access, authentication, permissions, and security controls across local and cloud infrastructure.
• Support DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, subnets, security groups, and other networking infrastructure.
• Support engineering teams with development tools and containerized environments, including Docker containers and images.
• Administer AWS and/or Azure environments and develop Bash and PowerShell automation scripts.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement scalable solutions that improve reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux environments and diagnosing complex systems, networking, cloud, authentication, and application issues.
• Hands-on knowledge of DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, subnets, and security groups.
• Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
• Proficiency with Bash and/or PowerShell scripting for automation and infrastructure management.
• Must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR/EAR requirements; U.S. Citizenship is required for some government-contract positions. Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure IAM, networking, compute, storage, load balancers, and security controls.
• Experience supporting engineering, software development, or product development teams.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
