Senior Technical Recruiter (Defense)

Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States; hybrid work with on-site presence and occasional travel as necessary.

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and submitting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Develop targeted recruitment strategies and build candidate pipelines through job postings, social media, databases, networking, and job fairs.
• Collaborate with hiring teams to identify immediate and future staffing needs, duties, and requirements.
• Support business development and capture efforts by identifying candidates and companies for specific programs and customers.
• Support proposal efforts by assessing candidate qualifications, obtaining documentation, and providing pricing realism for post-award delivery.
• Maintain accurate candidate documentation and applicant tracking system records while supporting administrative hiring processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience recruiting for IT-focused positions.
• Experience recruiting for security-clearance positions in DoD, intelligence, and civilian federal contracting environments.
• Experience recruiting UI/UX developers, AI/ML and data scientists or engineers, DevSecOps developers, ServiceNow developers, Java frontend developers, cloud network engineers, solution data architects, senior software engineers, and cybersecurity engineers.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of DoD security-clearance requirements, employment laws, and recruiting best practices.
• Strong sourcing, relationship-building, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
