Assistant Market Manager - Alltown Fresh

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts, United States; onsite at Alltown

Salary: $49,000–$65,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead, coach, recruit, train, and develop store team members and supervisors.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing levels, labor management, cash handling, inventory control, reporting, and daily store operations.
• Deliver consistent guest service, resolve concerns, and maintain a welcoming sales-floor presence.
• Manage fresh, grab-and-go, and made-to-order food preparation, presentation, rotation, and merchandising.
• Monitor sales, waste, labor, inventory accuracy, and other performance metrics; create improvement plans.
• Maintain store safety, sanitation, food safety, allergen control, facility inspections, equipment maintenance, and emergency preparedness.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in retail, food service, or hospitality, including demonstrated success leading teams and managing daily operations.
• At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience and the ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, budgeting, cost-control, and profitability skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation, OSHA, and workplace safety requirements.
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory tools, basic computer functions, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Availability for flexible day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts; reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, work around temperature changes and allergens, and lift up to 50 pounds.
