Assistant Closing Manager Full Time

Location: Pasadena, Maryland, United States; onsite club operations

Salary: $21.00–$26.25 per hour

What you will do

• Lead closing operations as Manager on Duty when assigned, taking responsibility for club operations, team leadership, and member engagement.
• Oversee recovery, utility, perishable departments, and overnight preparation so the club is clean, stocked, fresh, and ready for opening.
• Maintain GOLD service and club standards through close, including operational registers, attended service areas, and timely member issue resolution.
• Monitor inventory levels, product rotation, culling, merchandising, sanitation, safety checklists, and audit documentation.
• Coach team members, support onboarding and certifications, and improve productivity in underperforming departments.
• Collaborate with club leadership and department leads while using reports and operational tools to drive performance and profitability.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable-operations experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification is required and must remain in good standing.
• High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
• Experience with inventory turnover and waste reduction strategies.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Open-shift availability, regular full attendance, minimum age of 18, and ability to maintain required training and certifications.
