Assistant Club Manager (Retail)

Salary: Starting from $61,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead daily operations for assigned Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience departments.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members and future leaders.
• Plan labor and schedules, monitor sales and inventory, control shrink, and drive department performance.
• Ensure GOLD, GAA, and LAST member service standards and close-to-open operational readiness.
• Manage compliance with food safety, sanitation, OSHA, cold chain, and audit requirements.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when assigned, overseeing club operations, team leadership, and member engagement.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, developing staff, managing performance, and driving results.
• Knowledge of shrink control, merchandising, customer service, conflict resolution, and store operations.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and email.
• Must obtain and maintain ServSafe food safety certification.
• Forklift operation, open-shift availability, regular full attendance, and minimum age of 18 required.
