Life Sciences Program Manager

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Hybrid work model with regular travel to client sites, industry conferences, division sites, and company meetings, estimated up to 50% of the time.

What you will do

• Build enterprise client relationships and develop sustainable pipelines, account growth strategies, and new business opportunities.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, preparing presentations, providing program updates, and resolving issues and conflicts.
• Lead complex multidisciplinary programs across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, medical device, and laboratory environments.
• Facilitate contract structuring and negotiations while protecting operational alignment and profitability.
• Coach project managers and client-facing seller-doers, supporting accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with divisional leadership, project delivery, marketing, and business development teams to win and deliver work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in life sciences, engineering, manufacturing, automation, capital projects, or technical services in regulated environments.
• 7–10 years of program or project management experience leading complex, multidisciplinary initiatives.
• Experience in at least two life sciences sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare, CDMO/CMO/CRO, cell and gene therapy, or laboratory services.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, 21 CFR Parts 210/211, FDA regulations, ISPE guidelines, GAMP 5, and ASME BPE.
• Experience with enterprise client relationships, program governance, risk management, contract negotiation, financial performance, and executive communication.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a related technical field.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
