MedSuRe Senior Manager, Program Delivery

Location: Rockville, Maryland, United States; ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Salary: USD $139,453–$173,900 annually, plus a target annual bonus that varies by role level.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end operational delivery of the multi-year, multi-country MedSuRe Africa project across multiple workstreams.
• Develop annual implementation plans, monitor timelines, prepare progress reports, and manage deliverable quality control.
• Coordinate technical, monitoring and evaluation, finance, and partner teams while managing dependencies, risks, and delivery challenges.
• Manage partner coordination, subaward compliance, donor communications, briefings, and responses to donor inquiries.
• Track project finances and forecasts, oversee consultant and vendor engagements, and maintain project records and knowledge systems.
• Supervise, coach, and develop project management staff while supporting resource and workload planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in international development, public health, science, or a related field.
• Eight years of project management experience, including five years focused on donor-funded programs.
• Experience establishing program management systems and processes and managing complex consortium projects.
• Experience supervising and developing project teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work in Rockville, Maryland, United States, and travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree such as MPH, MBA, MPA, or equivalent.
• PMP certification.
• Monitoring and evaluation experience with donor-funded projects.
• Experience working across time zones and geographic areas in complex, cross-cultural environments.
• Fluency in French, Spanish, Portuguese, or another additional language.
