Program Manager, Medical & Scientific Affairs (IVD, Medical Device)

Location: Fully remote from the United States; listed location is Deer Park, Illinois.

Annual salary: $130,000–$145,000, plus eligible bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead medical and scientific affairs projects and cross-functional teams, delivering programs on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Apply hirify.global Business System tools, including VPM, VSM, Daily Management, and Action Plans, alongside Smartsheet, Miro, and Microsoft tools.
• Provide operational support for Medical Affairs objectives, KPIs, and existing standard work.
• Partner with internal and external resources on evidence site effectiveness, medical insights generation, and project reporting.
• Support the internal approval of clinical and medical content for external audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field with preference for 7+ years of program management experience, or an advanced biological science degree such as a PhD or MD with preference for 4+ years of program management experience.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.
• Ability to work independently with Medical and Scientific Affairs and cross-functional partners, escalating complex situations to department leadership.
• Strong decision-making, business judgment, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and support continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience with or knowledge of in vitro diagnostics.
• Understanding of the product lifecycle from concept through commercial execution.
• PMP certification, or willingness to work toward PMP certification.
• Medical affairs experience.
