Senior Civil Engineer

Salary: USD 120,000–165,297.60 per year

What you will do

• Design civil sites, including grading, drainage, site layouts, stormwater systems, renewable energy systems, and solid waste management systems.
• Develop permit-level site plans, hydrologic and hydraulic models, stormwater pollution prevention plans, drainage reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, bid documents, and contractor bid reviews.
• Manage multiple projects, including budgets, schedules, client relationships, safety, quality, and project management programs.
• Conduct regulatory research, engineering calculations, compliance analyses, and prepare technical reports and memoranda.
• Oversee field activities, coordinate subcontractors and regulatory agencies, and serve as Engineer of Record.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 15+ years of engineering consulting and construction experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience with stormwater calculations, design, permitting, civil site planning, and construction.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, especially grading and surfaces, plus proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, knowledge of health and safety practices, and ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and OSHA physical.

Nice to have

• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Experience with GIS, ESRI ArcGIS, Microsoft Project, wastewater facilities, wastewater design, and sewer conveyance.
