Demand Planner - Americas (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Support the SIOP consensus process and convert unit-based forecasts into monthly revenue plans across a 12–24-month planning horizon.
• Develop SKU- and channel-level forecasts using appropriate statistical models.
• Provide forecast insights, accuracy analysis, and risk and opportunity updates for Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, Supply, and Finance.
• Account for promotions, new item launches, factory special runs, and other future programs in monthly plans.
• Analyze inventory, forecast accuracy, MAPE, fill rate, slow-moving, excess and obsolete inventory, and new product introduction performance.
• Manage supply issues, develop alternative plans, improve forecasting tools and processes, and maintain SKU status in SAP with the Master Data team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, or financial planning and analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify trends and shifts from both limited and large data sets.
• Knowledge of shipment demand drivers, including base consumption, incremental consumption, trade inventory, and life cycle planning.
• Experience managing a large SKU base across multiple distribution centers; advanced MS Excel skills required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP R/3, Tableau, Logility, or SAP Business Warehouse.
• Advanced data mining skills.
