Demand Planner | Planning (Aerospace)

Location: South Burlington, Vermont, United States; onsite role

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Facilitate SIOP demand consensus meetings and consolidate cross-functional input into collaborative forecasts.
• Load and maintain forecasts in the ERP system while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Translate production plans into demand forecasts and maintain a reliable demand signal.
• Process sales orders and coordinate with supply chain partners on production capacity.
• Manage 6–36 month demand horizons to support strategic planning and capacity requirements.
• Coordinate demand changes with Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, leadership, and other stakeholders while identifying trends and anomalies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, or operations, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of direct experience in demand planning, forecasting, or comparable planning roles in a complex operations environment.
• Experience with an ERP system; Epicor, SAP, Plex, or Oracle experience is relevant.
• Advanced Excel and/or Business Intelligence platform skills.
• Strong understanding of demand planning fundamentals, forecasting methodologies, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment both independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Experience in demand planning, S&OP, or supply chain planning.
• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Experience with sales forecasting and demand consensus processes.
• Experience with rapid manufacturing growth or in a startup.
