Global Product Planning Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, Texas or Santa Clara, California, United States. Travel required up to 20% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $96,000–$132,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock award compensation.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end demand forecasting, inventory management, ramp planning, and transition planning for designated semiconductor products.
• Own planning deliverables across new product introduction, product transitions, ramp, and end-of-life stages.
• Design planning methodologies, workflows, data models, and visualizations aligned with business goals and service targets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Service Business Units, Business Units, and Engineering to align planning activities and influence decisions through data-driven insights.
• Assess supply, demand, cost, inventory, and service risks; manage exceptions and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Lead funded projects, track product performance, implement improvements, and mentor junior planners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience, including at least 6 years in inventory management, supply planning, material planning, or demand planning.
• Semiconductor industry experience is required. Service parts, warranty, or service planning experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and business judgment skills.
• Experience with ERP and supply chain planning systems such as SAP, SPP, or Oracle.
• Experience defining, measuring, and controlling KPIs; Tableau, Power BI, and SQL skills are highly desirable.
