Program Manager, Materials Planning (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX, United States. Relocation available and the role includes approximately 10% travel.

Salary: $88,000–$121,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock award eligibility.

What you will do

• Own materials planning for products and parts with complex, changing, and customer-specific demand.
• Validate demand changes and balance supply, demand, inventory levels, and customer commitments.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify shortages, excess inventory, demand shifts, and planning risks early.
• Lead planning exception resolution, root-cause investigations, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage inventory exposure, obsolescence risk, product transitions, and end-of-life planning.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Customer Support, and global regional teams.

Requirements

• Experience in materials planning, supply chain planning, demand planning, manufacturing operations, product lifecycle management, engineering, or program management.
• Practical expertise in materials or supply chain planning and knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and service functions.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as ERP/MRP platforms, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Tableau, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
• Exposure to demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, or lifecycle transitions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional work, influence without formal authority, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, operations, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
