Material Planner

Location: Hybrid in Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States

What you will do

• Understand demand sources, operations planning, and distribution for assigned products or services.
• Develop accurate forecasts at appropriate levels, horizons, and intervals.
• Monitor planning process performance and continuously improve output and forecast accuracy.
• Coordinate demand, operations planning, and distribution management with sales.
• Analyze planning problems and evaluate solutions using judgment and established precedents.
• Work independently with minimal to moderate guidance and support colleagues with less experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in a batch manufacturing environment, including knowledge of production processes, cycles, and planning requirements.
• Significant professional knowledge in the relevant discipline and several years of experience understanding key business drivers.
• Proficiency in SAP P80.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis.
