Capital Project Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: New Johnsonville, Tennessee, United States; onsite role

Salary: $97,843–$152,880 annually, plus an 8% annual bonus target

What you will do

• Lead engineering analyses, technical reviews, calculations, and planning for capital projects.
• Manage projects for new facilities and upgrades to existing processes from inception through initial commercial operation.
• Collaborate with plant engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors, construction personnel, equipment suppliers, and vendors.
• Develop project scopes, estimates, specifications, schedules, and SAP asset capitalization and accounting structures.
• Monitor project costs, forecast spending, manage changes, and resolve design and construction issues.
• Oversee project deliverables and facilitate completion of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and readiness activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
• At least 5 years of industrial experience, preferably in titanium dioxide manufacturing or capital project management.
• Must be able to work at the New Johnsonville, Tennessee location.
• Immigration sponsorship, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visa sponsorship, is not available.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Leadership, prioritization, facilitation, consensus-building, and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical integrity and quality assurance standards.
• Project management training or PMP certification.
• Experience developing project economics, scopes of work, estimates, and integrated critical-path schedules.
