Capital Project Manager (Food Ingredients)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of site minor capital programs with portfolios up to $5M and individual projects typically up to $1M.
• Execute projects from inception through operational handover while following engineering and safety processes.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, technology, safety, quality, and procurement partners.
• Drive design development, constructability, safety-in-design, and disciplined control of cost, schedule, and performance.
• Manage internal resources and external engineering and construction partners.
• Support readiness-to-operate, commissioning, close-out, documentation, financial closure, and site capital planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• At least 2 years of capital project execution experience in food, chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals, industry codes, manufacturing systems, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, utilities, equipment, DCS systems, and Management of Change.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a hands-on, onsite manufacturing setting.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional and external teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with formal minor capital project processes.
• Knowledge of SAP, capital cost controls, or portfolio management tools.
• OSHA 30 Construction Safety certification or equivalent.
