Project Manager, North America (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid, based in Louisville, KY; The Woodlands, TX; or Mt. Holly, NC, USA. Approximately 30–50% domestic travel across the North American region is required.

What you will do

• Lead capital projects across North American manufacturing sites from concept through completion.
• Manage multiple CAPEX projects valued at approximately $1 million to $50 million or more, including scope, budgeting, scheduling, execution, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop project plans, capital estimates, budgets, schedules, risk assessments, CARs, and project documentation.
• Direct cross-functional teams spanning engineering, procurement, operations, manufacturing, contractors, suppliers, and external engineering partners.
• Support feasibility studies, technical evaluations, equipment selection, vendor assessments, bid analyses, purchase requisitions, and factory acceptance testing.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, permits, regulatory requirements, quality expectations, and environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is strongly preferred.
• At least 3 years of professional project management experience, including CAPEX projects in a chemical process manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional project resources.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30–50% domestically.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
