Supervisor - Electric Operations

Location: In Office, Brunswick, Maine, United States

Base salary: $106,000–$132,500 per year, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Supervise field planners, field engineers, work-planning analysts, service coordinators, and clerical staff.
• Oversee design prerequisites, purchase requisitions, distribution-work planning and scheduling, and work-order closeout.
• Provide technical support for the construction, operation, and maintenance of electric facilities.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of master plans and schedules while assessing resources across service centers.
• Manage Electric Distribution budgets, review project designs, and evaluate engineering alternatives.
• Coordinate new-service activities with contractors, electricians, customers, and internal stakeholders, and assist with storm restoration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience preferred; or associate degree and 7 years of relevant experience; or high school/GED, completion of the relevant progression program, and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Expert project and schedule management skills.
• Knowledge of capital and O&M budgeting, construction principles, operations, maintenance, safety standards, business processes, and labor practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, negotiation, multitasking, and conceptual-thinking skills.
• Ability to use PC desktop applications and develop employees through training and leadership support.
• Applicants must meet applicable United States immigration requirements to work in the country.
