Supervisor, Field Operations (Electric Utilities)

Location: Hooksett, New Hampshire, United States. Field and office work with travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire; emergency restoration, shift work, weekends, and rotational on-call duty are required.

Annual salary: $126,770–$140,850, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Lead the safe execution of field construction, operations, maintenance, and emergency restoration activities.
• Prioritize work and assigned resources while monitoring work planning from initiation through closeout.
• Supervise employee performance, provide feedback, conduct reviews, and address performance issues.
• Coordinate pre-construction reviews, schedules, materials, job packages, utilities, contractors, municipalities, and external agencies.
• Serve as the construction liaison for customer care, engineering, warehousing and transportation, and stations operations.
• Respond to outages, emergency restoration assignments, customer issues, and off-hour operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• At least five years of related experience; electric distribution and supervisory experience are preferred.
• Knowledge of safe construction, operation, and maintenance practices for electric transmission and distribution facilities at secondary and primary operating voltages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, computer, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Must maintain switching and tagging qualifications and hold a valid motor vehicle license.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants requiring immigration-related sponsorship will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in electric distribution.

• D.O.T. driver’s license.
