Sr. Project Manager C&I (Electrical Construction)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona; onsite work in a company-designated office or field location.

Sturgeon Electric Company, a subsidiary of hirify.global, provides large-scale electrical construction services across the western United States, including commercial and industrial, transmission, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, and renewable energy projects.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day activities and operational oversight for assigned commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
• Prepare construction schedules, look-ahead documents, progress reports, billing information, and project deliverables.
• Prepare labor and material cost estimates, perform field take-offs, and participate in estimate reviews.
• Monitor job costs against budgets and report project status to management.
• Coordinate clients, subcontractors, project personnel, and construction teams, including field walk-downs and constructability reviews.
• Prepare requests for information, bills of material, document comparisons, and change-order submissions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant education and experience may be considered instead.
• Knowledge of specifications, proposals, project documentation, the N.E.C., and relevant local codes.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural, and mechanical plans and specifications as they relate to electrical work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating software such as Accubid or equivalent, and Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
