Project Manager (Underground Construction)

Location: Must live in California within driving distance to Concord; the role includes supporting construction crews and field operations.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and close underground construction projects.
• Manage scope, schedules, resources, costs, quality, safety, engineering, and permitting requirements.
• Support construction crews and field operations with technical requirements and crew development.
• Manage client communication, relationships, and project support.
• Develop Field Engineers and Project Coordinators.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of applicable project management or construction experience.
• Experience with underground construction and working with PG&E or other large electric utility companies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and an active portfolio valued at $5 million–$10 million.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Viewpoint or similar project management software, and Primavera or similar scheduling software.
• Effective communication, strong organization, creative problem-solving, and the ability to manage fluctuating workloads.
• Must be able to work on W-2 and live in California within driving distance to Concord.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, project management, business, or construction management.
