What you will do

• Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of commercial projects, from design development and permitting through contractor procurement and final closeout.
• Collaborate with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of systems within the overall project design.
• Cultivate strong client partnerships and maintain transparent, open communication throughout the project.
• Organize and lead weekly internal meetings to define and track action plans for all managed projects.
• Coordinate site visits for preliminary investigations, bid walks, and construction support.
• Monitor project hours and budgets, approve timesheets, and coordinate billing details with the accounting department.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Houston, TX.
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering and design projects for commercial clients in the AEC industry.
• Thorough knowledge of MEP systems, equipment, installation practices, and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA).
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, time management, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including monthly overnight trips.
